I can't spell her last name, but if you were Italian, you'd say "coach-a-me-lio" and you'd hold your hand out in front of your chest, moving it around while you said it. You'd also be racketeering the local businesses for "protection" money with your friend who resembles a well-dressed violinist.
Over the holidays, a friend asked me to take a few shots of a stand-up show in Sydney. The headliner was Nick Beaton, the MC was Aaron Corbet and the opening acts were Stephen LeBlanc and Ash Young. Funny guys, I tells ya! Funny!
Straight flash assignment. We set up a backdrop at Nathan's. This man fit three squares in his mouth! We used studio lights later and I took shots with his Canon. I need to upgrade my camera. I need to get those shots too.
Due to the use of fill, I had to reshoot my lamplight portrait. I had my friend Jeremy be the model and we took a lamp outside to avoid any reflected light. The version I submitted to my instructor had the rim light on his sleeve toned down. The other shot was taken while shooting my storefront assignment. Blah blah blah...
This is a lamplight portrait project for school. The model is a friend of my girlfriend and I. She was a good sport about being shoved into the corner of a room while she half sat on the base of a lamp with a fireplace mantel digging into her back and having a reflector (a crappy one at that) and a camera all up in her face.
This was a for a testimonial shot assignment. Everything in the photo had to help explain the person. If you can't tell, Keelan hammers boards together. He also lends me his floodlight from time to time. What a guy, I tells ya!
