Night exposure assignment. The submitted photo was horizontal, but I prefer this shot.

Yet an other portrait project. This time we were to use candle light. The model is my awesome girlfriend.

Due to the use of fill, I had to reshoot my lamplight portrait. I had my friend Jeremy be the model and we took a lamp outside to avoid any reflected light. The version I submitted to my instructor had the rim light on his sleeve toned down. The other shot was taken while shooting my storefront assignment. Blah blah blah...

This is a lamplight portrait project for school. The model is a friend of my girlfriend and I. She was a good sport about being shoved into the corner of a room while she half sat on the base of a lamp with a fireplace mantel digging into her back and having a reflector (a crappy one at that) and a camera all up in her face.
